Jehanne hooded capelet

Lots of people have asked about an adult version of my popular Ermeline hooded cardigan. An adult cardigan will eventually be is also available, but I hope you’ll love this adorable pixie hooded capelet too !

Quick and fun to crochet, amazingly fun to wear for your walks in the park (or even to keep your shoulders warm in the office, as one customer suggested), this capelet features a super long goblin hood, triangle granny inserts and a very pretty bobble edging to balance the whole design.

Looking exactly like a medieval “chaperon with liripipe” (as I realised after finishing this design), it would also be perfect for a medieval costume or reanactments !

To crochet the Jehanne capelet with its long pixie/goblin hood, you will need approx 300g of worsted weight yarn for the main color, plus about 1 skein of contrasting color. I used Cascade 220 wool.

One size fits all.

The pattern is very detailed, with many in-progress pictures.
Uses american crochet abbreviations, with corresponding UK terms.
