Totalement bilingue anglais, je suis aussi française de naissance. Je jongle toujours entre français et anglais puisque mon site et mes propres patrons (sous le nom de ChezPlum) sont en anglais, mais j’ai appris à tricoter en français.

Depuis 2005, je fais de la traduction de modèles de tricot et crochet pour des particuliers et des éditeurs de livres et magazines d’arts créatifs (parmi mes clients: “Editions de Saxe“, “Bergère de France“, Jared Flood de “Brooklyn Tweed”…), tant du français vers l’anglais que de l’anglais vers le français.

Si vous avez trouvé un joli modèle dans un livre, un magazine ou sur Ravelry mais que vous ne maitrisez pas trop les termes spécifiques de l’anglais en tricot/crochet/couture, je peux vous aider et traduire le patron !

Le prix demandé varie en fonction de la longueur et la complexité des explications du modèle, souvent entre 8 et 30 euros (le prix moyen étant autour de 20 euros).

NB: DESIGNERS INDÉPENDANTS, je peux aussi traduire vos patrons en anglais afin de toucher une clientèle beaucoup plus large !! Contactez-moi pour plus d’infos et les services spécifiques proposés. Quelques exemples de patrons que j’ai traduits :
- Les patrons très mignons de Soudane et ses poupées, traduits du français vers l’anglais.
- Le patron “Mitaines en tricot-swing” de Heidrun Liegman-Halama “swing-knitting worshop n° 1″, traduit de l’anglais vers le français.
- La “Forêt” de Elfie Haas: des jolis arbres pour faire une frise champêtre, traduit du français vers l’anglais.
- “La capeline de Framboisine”, de Mary Lena Lynx, traduit du français vers l’anglais.

J’accepte les paiements via Paypal ou les chèques en Euros, et traduis en général dans la semaine qui suit la réception de votre paiement.
