Dancing poppies, part 2 : scarf

Posted: Tuesday, October 30th, 2007 @ 4:12 pm in chezPlum Patterns, Crochet, Etsy, FO, pattern testers | 5 Comments »

The scarf is finished, and blocked. Yay ! :-D After taking about a million photos this morning, here are some semi-decent ones… Funny how it now looks more like a shawlette, … or at least that’s how it feels ! It’s very warm anyway, and I’m really quite pleased with how both turned out. I’ll […]

Dancing poppies, part 1: scarflette

I finished the choker last night. Pretty and so comfy !! :-) I’ll most likely list that one on Etsy beginnning of next week and I’m curious to see if people like it ! (btw, how much do you think I can ask for it ?) Let’s hope I’ll have enough Malabrigo for a second […]

Another serie

Not that I plan it that way but I’ve noticed that whenever I try and like a new design, I usually end up with several items around the same “theme”. Like my 4 Isabeau patterns… Same goes with my other designs although it doesn’t show yet: many items are still unfinished (as that cardi that […]

French swap

Posted: Saturday, October 20th, 2007 @ 9:39 am in Crochet, links, WIP | 2 Comments »

I just signed up for the Dŕ©tournement de Laine swap. (hopefully it’s not too late, they only take 100 sign ups) If you’re in France, you might want to have a look ! Last night we watched Thalassa on tv so I made good progress on my scarf. Now remains those monotonous dangly bits… and […]

Result of last night’s SnB

Posted: Friday, October 19th, 2007 @ 9:55 am in Crochet, WIP | 2 Comments »

Sometimes we hardly knit/crochet during our SnB meetings but last night was quite productive, and here’s my first “swatch” for my scarf. It looks fun so far.. I was playing with some buttons too, might be a good way to use them up.. :-P

More UFOs

I don’t know about you but it seems I never have the time for anything this year !! With prune starting school I was supposed to have “more” time for myself, but so far it hasn’t worked much. The laundry pile never stops to grow, I hardly ever watch tv at night.. and of course […]

Bread Pudding Mittenettes

Posted: Thursday, October 11th, 2007 @ 2:57 pm in chezPlum Patterns, french, Gallery, Knitting, SnB | 1 Comment »

Finally I managed to finish my new Mittenettes !! They’re very warm and quite pretty (even though not as plum-colored as I first thought). I now need to make a matching hat with the remaining hank !! (Please excuse the funny look, I’m holding the camera remote-control in my mouth.. :-P ) I also have […]

You’d think I knew by now…

I did it again. Knit 2 left mitts… Ripping until thumb increases and restarting. This goes to show I probably should never attempt any complicated stranded mitts, it would be so frustrating to have to rip and reknit something that actually takes time to knit !!! :-P

Couldn’t resist..

Posted: Thursday, October 4th, 2007 @ 6:18 pm in chezPlum Patterns, Gallery, Knitting | 2 Comments »

Actually I couldn’t resist and casted on right away the other night for my new pair of Cactus mittenettes ! Technically I should be finished. But because this is handspun, one end of the hank was slightly bulkier, making the cuff of my first mitt a bit larger. They’re so quick to make that I […]
