Aussie Swag..

And here’s yet more pics of Maud.. ;-)

I stumbled upon CrochetRoo’s patterns the other on Etsy and HAD to make some of her stuff ! So here’s a Gecko (made with huge wooden beads but apparently Geckos have huge eyes so we’ll pretend I chose those on purpose) and a turtle and my first try at a Koala bootie. Aren’t they cute ?
I made the bootie with some Phildar Licorne. Love the colors but it looks so tiny..! For my next ones I’ll try to find another yarn and rearrange the instructions so as to make them all in one go. I don’t like to cut yarn too often… ;-)

I still want to make a Saltie Croc. too… Ha, Beware !! ;-)

Oh and I found some great links too : Create your own knitCharts !! Huge relief, now I know how to make charts when I need to… ! :-D

Also, look at those fantastic cute crocheted booties (w/ free pattern !). I so need to try some. The construction is fairly similar to the Koala booties too, it will be fun to compare how they’re done.
