Lovely week-end and a treasury
Tada, our “dayjob” website MonEscapade is finally online, Yay ! So now the big job begins, finding new listings for the site (B&B and gà®tes owners in France) and marketing the site to get a decent PR (pagerank) asap.. will keep me busy for a while, I tell you..! :-P
So, while I’ll be working mostly on that during the week, we’ve been away during weekends lately, with no internet access. And I LOVED every minute of last week-end: we were staying at my parent’s place, which meant I could watch tv and knit/crochet until undecent hours (we’re sleeping in the living room at home).
I crocheted tons of granny squares for my friend’s blankie, and started working on my capelet project with my handspun yarn: this involved a lot of swatching/ripping/reknitting… After I decided I would probably not have enough for a decent-sized shawl and didn’t want a smallish shawl, I restarted on a little cowl-capelet. So far it looks ok, we’ll see how it goes.
Look, my handspun yarn is featured in a lovely yarny Treasury, purple majesties ! :-D
Also, for any vintage patterns lovers, you may want to have a look at those freebies: 5 pretty patterns, with modern-type instructions.

Congratulations on the site launch.
Shall I urge all my gite owning friends to check it out?
