Broke my circ

Hya, we got bck home monday night but days have been busy busy busy since !! I only looked at the pictures yesterday night !

We had a great time as usual, lots of sun, nice heat, swimming in the sea and swimming pool, listening to the “cigales” (sorry, too lazy to look up the word in english) and eating ice cream.. I can tell you BOTH girls love ice cream and swimming..! :-P
I didn’t knit and crochet much, but still managed good progress on the red crochet cardi for Prune.
And got to the “interesting” point in my Goa Tank top.. until my circular needle broke !!! Argh !! Lots of stitches lost in the process too, so I should have to redo 3 or 4 rows.. exactly the ones with decreases and eyelets !! It’s now a complete mess, some stitches on another circular needle, some other on a stitch-holder.. and the remaining on the broken circ !

I’ll look at it tonight at our SnB meeting with Emily.. (and have to find a way to fix the needle as well btw.. ;-P)

Another Plumetis cardi finished ! have a look at Angel’s real nice one : she made some pretty mods, it suits her so perfectly !!! :-D
I can’t wait for Bry’s final comments (and maybe pics) to release the pattern and be done with that..!!

That looks like chocolate ice cream! Don’t even talk about circulars breaking! I am doing my first lace shawl on one and struggling, if the circular broke I think I would throw it away.

Are cigales the same as cicadas? Insect noises anyway always make me think of lazy hot tropical nights.

Angels Plumetis looks gorgeous, I like the three quarter sleeves but prefer more buttons, undecided about the ribbing though I think both versions look good.

    Nice to see you bk
