WWKIP picnic & a meme

Prune used to have a little “boyfriend” at school at the beginning of the year, Mat.
This afternoon they were hanging out together and he waved her goodbye saying “goodbye my little darling” (“au revoir ma petite chà©rie”).
Tonight during dinner we talked about it again and Prune said, I’m quoting:
– Yes he called me “little darling” but he can’t, I’m 4 years old.
We laughed, amazed at her being so reasonable… until she added
– he should have called me “my big darling” (ma grande chà©rie) because I’m 4, I’m a big girl now !

:-D

This week-end was WWKIP and we had a lovely picnic by the lake of Annecy with Penny, Emily, Jette and Anais. It was fun, although a little cold: we even used the picnic-blanket as a cover-up until the sun finally came out again… :-)
And yep, that’s the feb. lady sweater I was working on. I’m now about 10 cm into the lace, as I kept getting lost in the lace pattern and having to count my stitches /rip/reknit… But I think I’m getting the hang of it now and it should be fine. Saving pictures for a next post…

And I’ve been tagged, by the uber-talented laracroft. So here goes:

The rules; Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know theyâ??ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when youâ??ve posted your answer.

1. What was I doing ten years ago?

hmm, that would be me at … 24 ? I think we were living in a ski resort above Grenoble having loads of fun with a great gang of friends. I sold ski tickets during the winter, and finished my studies (economics & foreign languages).

2. What are 5 things on my to-do list for tomorrow (not in any particular order)?
– go to the swimming pool with the girls. I can’t believe it’s mid june and still too cold to go to the lake.. The water must be icy !
– pack our things for a long week-end: We’re leaving in the afternoon for my parent’s place. Apparently we have to “help” by eating the tons of strawberries in the garden.. :-)
– send a key to my mom
– Call N. and ask her to lend me 4 euros & bring them to Prune’s teacher for her class photo: prune will be skipping school for a couple days… :-P
– Send my questionaire for the Fiber swap Club ! Even though I’m the organiser, I still haven’t..

3. Snacks I enjoy.
Olives stuffed with anchovy, Salt and vinegar chips, dried mango, and a lot of super-salty stuff ..

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire.
Buy a house. With a large garden, an office and a crafting studio. Also I’d buy a spinning wheel without feeling guilty as we wouldn’t need to work any more.. :-)
With the rest I’d try to do something to increase the awareness regarding renewable energies, recycling and such.

5. Places I have lived.

Paris (I was born there), Prapoutel, Perth, Homer, Squamish, Wanaka…

6. Jobs I’ve had.
Housecleaner, translator, carpenter in alaska (probably my best job ever..! :-P), cashier in a bakery …

7. Peeps I want to know more about
(consider yourselves tagged)
I guess everybody has probably done this meme already so I’ll try local : Emily, Jette and Penny ! :-)
