Soirą©e d’hier- SnB night

Yesterday was our SnB night and we had a new recruit : Mary from around Brg St Maurice spent the evening with Emily and I. We had a great time chatting away .. and Hey, we probably already crossed paths in Wanaka, NZ a few years ago.. also Look, she made an Isabeau purse !! First time I meet in person sb who’s knit something from my patterns…;-P

I’m so happy I’ve met those ladies (along with Berry, the 4th lady of our SnB, not there yesterday), it feels great both to make new friends and occasionally to talk about knitting, Etsy and all the blogosphere in general.. And Mary even showed us some tricks, it was nice to share knowledge..

We’re leaving today – at least that’s the plan, nothing ready yet! – for my cousin’s wedding this week-end :Prune is a flower girl.. so we have to go despite the 6 hour drive !! :-P
We want to stop midway and sleep in the tent.. that should be fun with the girls..!

Oh speaking of the girls : I guess we can now say Maud can walk ! She now stands on her own quite confidently and will walk 3 or 4 steps… No more little baby here !! :-D she just learns new stuff every day, it’s great to watch her !

I plan to release the pattern for the Plumetis cardi when I return beginning of next week. Have you seen Bryony’s one yet ?!!
