The score
Of course, I ended up not knitting/crocheting much during this week away. A few rows on the Guinevere mohair sweater, and I started crocheting a “friend” for the little crocheted cars… Hopefully I’ll have pictures of more progress later this week.. ;-)
I did get my hooks out for something a little bit more unusual though… Fixed P’s portable bed with some slip stitch crochet seam!! :-D
But look at all the goodies I found at that sale… Tons of yarn. I won’t detail it all, but there’s some Phildar “Tulle” that I’ve wantd to try for a while, and lots of nice boucle yarn either for small projects or a sweater (the khaki/white//burgundy..). And colourful cottons..
Of course we found lots more too (jewellry, old bed sheets and Absinthe glasses and stuff..) but I won’t show it all. Was a nice sale!
EDIT: I keep on forgetting the “best” part about that sale: my mum actually went back the next day to help clean up the place, .. and came back with ALL the leftover yarn !!! Like 3 or 4 huge boxes !!!! Most of the stuff is going to my local charity shop, but Hey, free yarn… :-D
