Cactus Mittenettes

As featured in Craftzine.com, the “Cactus Mitennettes” !!

Knit your own pair in a couple evenings to keep your hands warm AND stylish !!

Soft ribbing around the wrist ensures a snug fit, while rows of eyelets and patterned ribbing create a unique look.

The ribbing pattern reminds me of High cactus in a Mexican desert.. thus the name !

Two gauge options, only 85 m of yarn needed .. an ideal Stashbusting project!! Knit mostly flat , youâ??ll only have to deal with dpns for 8 little rounds for the thumbs.

Pattern includes instructions both for Malabrigo â??Merino worstedâ?ť or Handpaintedyarns â??Colonia 140â?ł.

What you’ll need:
Colonia 140 by « Handpaintedyarn.com », 1 skein in aqua verde, OR Worsted weight Merino by « Malabrigo », 1 hank in Calypso.
Knitting Needles: 5mm (US8) straight needles and 1 set 5 mm (US8) double pointed needles (youâ??ll only need 4).
Darning needle ; Stitch holder

Gauge: 15.5st/23 rows OR 18st/26 rows

I’ve knit these Mittenettes in tons of different yarns already and am always stunned by the outcome ! See also other people’s Mittenettes in the Gallery !

Because I was having problems with my download system, all pattern purchases will now be going through Ravelry. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have a Ravelry account though !
If you encounter any problem with the process, please contact me and I’ll send the pattern via email asap.
