Banjo bag

This is one unusual bag, combining a fun and funky shape with a unique construction !

The strap is buttoned directly onto the bag. Use all those colorful buttons you’ve been collecting !!

A very easy and quick project, with step-by-step instructions.

MATERIALS:
**Color A (work with one strand of 2 types of yarn held together):
– Bergere de France «Chà©rie», 2 skeins in black ( 100% acrylic, 50g = 120 m)
OR suggested substitute: Lion Brand «Miscrospun», 2 sk.
– Phildar «Aurore», 1/2 skein in black (mohair, acrylic, nylon, 50 g = 437 m)
OR suggested substitute: Rowan «Kidsilk Haze» , 1 skein.
**Color B:
Manos del Uruguay «Pure wool» (100% wool, 100 g = 135 yds), 1 skein in color 54 (burgundy)
** 4.5 mm crochet hook / Size 7 (American sizes: go either with a G hook and slightly looser stitches, or H with tighter stitches )

GAUGE:
10 cm =16 st and 8.5 rows in double crochet with one strand of each black yarn (Color A) held together.
10 cm = 18 st and 22 rows in single crochet with Manos del Uruguay (color B).
