Baby Altay hat
Continuing with my “Around the granny square” project, here is a baby version of my Altay hat.
Worked sideways around a â??granny triangleâ?ť, it features a fun and unusual construction which I love. :-) It’s also very easily customisable for a perfect fit.
* All the moms loved the Baby Altays I made for their newborn babies ! (even my mom custom-ordered me one for a gift !)
* A quick, easy and very rewarding project ! I made at least a dozen of those already, and I’m sure you’ll ahve fun making several for every baby shower you attend too !
* Pattern includes Step-by-step detailed photos and instructions (one tester said “I really like the pattern. It was a fast easy knit. The pictures were very beneficial. It saved quite a bit of time because I didn’t have to figure out what the directions meant. There was a visual to explain with direction. ”
* Sizes: Newborn to 9 months
* You will need:
2 skeins of Debbie Bliss “Cashmerino dk” in contrasting colors (or dk yarn of your choice)
4 mm crochet hook
The hat uses very little yarn though, and you could either make a hat out of one skein, or make 2 hats with with reversed colors. Consider all the possibilities !
Because I was having problems with my download system, all pattern purchases will now be going through Ravelry. Donâ??t worry, you donâ??t need to have a Ravelry account though !
If you encounter any problem with the process, please contact me and Iâ??ll send the pattern via email asap.
