Debi made her beret using only one shade of Kureyon. She said “I did bring it to show at the yarn shop. I teach knitting classes and not telling them anything about it just that I made it, it was a hit. Many had to try it on and it was commented on how great it looked on everyone.”

Here is Mikki’s super cute Disco beret, made with 2 tones of Kureyon. She says “I finished the hat in one day. I love how the concentric circles are made very prominent and admire the simple geometry that the contrasting colors create. You also introduced me to the pleasures of Noro Kureyon and I must say that I am in love! “

I loved making this beret for my daughter’s school teacher. I used thin black mohair held together with cheap black acrylic, and nice light green angora for the contrasting circles. She seemed to like it ! :-)

This beret is the one I developped the pattern for the Disco beret with. I made it using all sorts of yarns from my stash changing yarns on every round, for my friend Emily.
