.. I meant to do this several days ago, but time flies. Let’s announce the winner of one copy of the sewing book I translated, “Ma petite robe noire”: Congratulations to Claudia ! I’ll contact you in a minute for the details :-D

Meanwhile, I have received copies of the knitting and crochet patterns I translated a couple months ago for Bergā¨re de France: crāŠations 2013-2013. I am so blessed to be doing this job: first, I get to work in a field I love (textile crafts + english language)… AND as a bonus, I get to receive copies of pretty pattern books. This is really the dream job :-D

The patterns inside are very pretty. I esp. love this bobble sweater, and travelling cables poncho. I know it’s not the right season, but it just looks sooo cozy and warm, perfect for those cold winter days here in the alps.

The crocheted scarf on the cover is also so pretty. (that’s one of the patterns I translated btw: it’s so neat to be bi-crafty !) and I love one of the yarns used, “naturelle”: it’s dyed with natural dyes, people !!!!!! And what’s not to love in a chunky thick and thin single. I’m in love. :-)

Sorry though, no giveaway this time. There are 4 books, but 2 are in french (one of the pictures and samples of yarn, the other for instructions) and 2 are in english (same here, instructions are separate). BUT the good news is that Bergā¨re de France now has a website in english, where you can order your own pattern book, with instructions in english. :-D
