We’re just coming back from 5 days on the french Riviera (or nearly). It was warm, the flowers and herbs smelled beautifully as always, and the cicadas sang their lovely summery song.

On the local market, I found this awesome hat. “It’s hand-crocheted” the lady said. Of course I knew, it was actually the reason why I looked at it in the first place !! ;-)
I love how you can wear it both ways, with brim turned up or down. Protects well from the sun too !

No noticeable progress on my Jehanne cardigans (I’ve started a second one to double-check the pattern) BUT I made several pot-holders, including those 2 red/green ones for my grand-mother as she didn’t have any at her summer hideaway. I made those double-layered as my auntie asked for “very thick with no holes”. Now nobody should burn their fingers again. ;-)

I also have several really exciting news for the year to come: several “dream jobs” coming together, or rather, this vision of living my 2 passions (textile crafts and the english language) to the fullest, in my day-job. Will tell you more about this soon. :-)
