My brother is getting married soon, on a sunny island. Color of the wedding is orange. I wanted to make dresses for the girls, searched high and low for pretty patterns on Etsy and in my sewing books… and ended up copying one of their favorite dresses.. ;-)

The extra bonus: the checkered fabric is upcycled from a thrifted duvet cover (great bargain at 2 Euros), and it came with ties to close the opening. Those ties made perfect bias for my dress !! :-D
