Felted soaps, Owl cloth pads, and finished hooded capelet
The girls are on holiday now, and snow finally fell on the Alps.
This means skiing together, going to the swimming-pool… and tomorrow we’ll probably go shopping for fabric in Grenoble: I want to sew them pretty dresses for my brother’s wedding in a couple months.
This blog looks nearly dead these days, yet I still sew/crochet/make things. Several custom orders have kept me busy lately, along with translations of various knitting patterns.
Made felted soaps. (& still need to make more!)
New fabric for more menstrual cloth pads: Owls !
And I am done with the hooded capelet !! Terrible pics, but I swear it’s verrrrry pretty and was worth all the time ripping and crocheting again. I especially love the bobble edging: I love bobbles, and need more in my designs ! ;-) Better pics soon, I swear. Oh and if you’re interested in testing the pattern, drop me a line. ;-)
Last but not least, have a look at this super pretty Baby Altay hat, crocheted by Cal Patch (aka HodgePodge on Etsy, check out her super pretty store!), author of one of my favorite sewing book “design-it-yourself clothes”.
Love what she said too: “i think itâ??s my go-to pattern for every baby born to anyone i know ;n)” Ha, makes me happy to meet like-minded people. :-)
