Would you like to sew your own sanitary cloth pads ?
Months and months ago, I realised I needed to stop using disposable sanitary pads, and started to look up at options online to buy some. But, that meant quite a budget. I could sew, and thought why not make them myself ?
After months and months of developping my own pattern and testing the resulting pads myself, I am now perfectly satisfied of the result and wrote a very detailed step-by-step tutorial, with lots of pictures to share it with others.
My pattern is now ready, but I’d love to have a few sewists to test it, see if they understand everything ect…
I would send you a free copy of the tutorial, and ask for any feedback you could give me, within a week from now.
All the materials are very usual items from your home (or easily bought from any supermarket or thrifstore), and there are 2 sizes/shapes of pads you can choose from.
If you’d like to have a go at testing my tutorial, please leave me a comment or send me a message (with a bit about your sewing experience and whether you’re a native english speaker… as I’m not ! )
Have you entered my GIVEAWAY for a FREE COPY of my baby Babouches pattern ?!!

Hi Sylv
I would be interested in test sewing for you. I have sewed for 25 years including lots of kids clothing as well as drapes etc. Let me know if you still need someone.

Hello! I would be more than happy to try your pattern out and provide feedback. In addition to garments, accessories, etc, I have been sewing my own sanitary pads for over five years. English is my native language, but I can read French as well!

Didn’t realize such a thing existed! Too bad my machine is broken would have loved to have tried this. Wonder if it could be done by hand?

If you still need a tester, I’d be thrilled! I also recently came to that conclusion – I prefer a diva cup, but there are times when I still want a pad, and I really dislike the disposables.
I’m not much of a sewer, but have a machine and can manage the basics.
I am a native English speaker.
