I couldn’t resist. This morning I started a second Popover sundress, this time in size 6. :-)

It was quick, now that the pattern was all printed and cut. Didn’t make any of the mistakes I made on the first one either, so the straps are the right length… And following DH’s suggestion, I added a bottom ruffle in the hope that Plume would love it
(this morning she was like “yes I like it, but I would prefer if it was all made with the white lacy fabric…:-P)

Anyways.. it worked ! Now she loves it and wore it all day. I even made a matching scrunchie !

No major mod on the pattern, except for the bottom ruffle (about twice the bottom width of the dress).
That pretty white “broderie anglaise” fabric is pretty, but it was all but easy to cut and sew. Next time I’ll think twice.. ;-)

    Hi Sylvie,
Please tell Prune I think she looks beautiful in this dress and that an all white one would make her look like a bride (actually maybe she’d like that!). Anyway your sewing is looking good – very inspiring.

What a darling dress for a darling girl. Very, very nice.
