Elf slippers galore !
Prune’s new slippers have been finished for a while, but I only added soles yesterday night. They’re kind of foam soles, and I’m not sure they’ll last long. But at least they’re anti-slippery so that prune doesn’t fall every step she makes ;-)
Of course Maud asked for a pair too, which I made so quickly this morning !! I used a super bulky yarn this time (hand-dyed ages ago) and a 8 mm hook. The holes mean some drafts to her feet, but otherwise I guess they’re pretty warm. (and did I say QUICK ?!! :-P )
I also made a third pair for my girlfriend the other day while visiting her. Didn’t take pics, but it looked as though she loves them too. :-D
I see a LOT of those in the future (esp. for quick holiday presents). Love that you can make them with small amounts of any yarn, perfect for stashbusting ! For technical details & some personal tweaks to the pattern, see on Ravelry. :-)

Hi, I gave the link to the pattern in my post, but apparently she is no longer making this pattern available. Anyways, it’s actually something like a large granny square but with more increases at each corner. (and even more increases towards the end), which gives it this wonderful shape when folded.
