First I wanted to say Hi to all the people coming from Craftzine ! I hope you’ll enjoy the Headband pattern :-D

A series of mistakes has been brought to my attention in the XL size of the Violaine top. Oops, sorry about that, I thought I had double-checked all the numbers but I guess it slipped through somehow. Anyways, if you’d like an updated copy, just send me a note with the email adress of your paypal account.

After playing indians in a tipi made with a sheet and a few poles below my grandmother’s chalet, we’re now back in Annecy. We had a beautiful day the other day with my parents and the girls, when we rented a boat to cruise on the lake. Unfortunately none of us had taken a camera, but I can tell it was fantastic, and the girls LOVED being able to “drive” the boat :-)

Today I finally put the last finishing touch to Prune’s new summer cardi: One sleeve to redo with the final numbers, all the ends to weave in.. and buttons to choose ! The final choice for the buttons was Prune’s: I figured that was be the best way to make sure she wanted to wear it. :-D (can you believe she said to me the other day “mum, you really did a great job because that’s my favorite color and I appreciate your efforts, but really I prefer thinner yarns“.. !!)
I’m not fully satisfied with the placement of those buttons though. We may add a fourth one..we’ll see.

Anyways, I’m quite pleased with how it turned out in the end so this should become a pattern. Maybe with 2 or 3 saizes (probably between 4 and 8 yo..). I’ll keep you posted.

The cardi looks lovely, and the “wearer’s choice” buttons are a great touch. Congrats!
