First ski of the season for the girls

It snowed a bit here in France this week-end and we went up to the local mountain for the girl’s first ski session of the year.

Here’s them both, Prune on skis and Maud in the little sledge. Maud also did her very first ever session of ski, but she seems to prefer sledging so far.. ;-) Prune loves skiing, of course as all the kids her age she goes fast and straight down but she’s also slowly learning to turn which is great… Soon the lifts will open and we’ll be able to ski a bit with her.. :-)

Oh and if you’re up for a good laugh, look at Prune on her pushbike… (still learning, back in october)

On the craft side, Yay, I’ve FINALLY finished sewing all the squares of my little blankie. After that, weaving in all the ends will be plain fun!! :-P And I’ve started a pair of little slippers for Prune using a vintage pattern from “the Great Granny Crochet Book”.

I hope you had a great week-end too ! Going back to that blankie now, to add a little frilly edging around it..!! :-P
