I’m back & Last days to buy your Raffle tickets !
Hi, I’m back ! Hope you all had a great week !
We did, sharing our time between the beach, the swimming pool and the garden. Nice warm weather. But boy did we come back tired ! :-P (so hot it was hard to get the girls to sleep)
Unfortunately it seems my download system for the patterns got broken while I was away. I sent copies to all the people who had problems with that, if you didn’t get yours, please contact me !
We’ll try to fix that asap but until then if you purchase a pattern here and don’t get the download page to work, just send me a note and I’ll forward you a copy of the pattern asap. Sorry for that ! :-/
The Raffle ends tomorrow night ! So far we have raised $100 for my friend, Thanks so much !
Be quick for a chance to win a complete set of ALL MY PATTERNS, or some HANDSPUN YARN :
Only $2 per ticket !
My swap partner has just received her package so I can now show you the fiber I had dyed for her : As I said earlier, this was my first time using acid dyes. So the first round (pics 1 & 3) produced really super bright colors, with a nearly-neon green. Not good, esp. as my swap partner specifically said she hates neon colors… ;-P
So I redipped both rovings in red dye until I got much more suitable colors. This time I was pretty pleased with the outcome.
The first 2 pics are before/after on Merino combed top (available in my etsy store), the last 2 pics show before/after of the BFL top I sent her. Apparently she likes it. :-D

Oooh we could do with a few hot days like that up here. Today was fabulous but once the sun drops so does the temperature and you need a jumper. The roving is lovely I really like BFL but since I recently tried it Superwash BFL is my favorite. It fluffs up so beautifully when it dries.
