So far we have raised $84 for my friend with the Raffle ! :-)

There’s still 10 days to go to enter my Raffle & I really hope we can better : just think if everybody gave $2, could make a huge difference !

Yesterday night was our weekly SnB night, with Mary, Emily and Ale. Was really nice, as always, plus I got a book to read, the “friday night knitting club”. Very timely too, as I’m leaving today for a week at the beach with the girls. :-)

I did a little more dying this week for my “Fiber swap club” partner. It was my first time using acid dyes (food dyes are just safer with little ones around BUT tend to cake in places which is not suitable for anybody else than myself) so I got reaaally bright colors in the first place. I then dipped them in a second dye bath and now they’re just perfect ! I hope my swap partner likes the one I’m sending her.. wish I could show it but I’ll have to wait until she receives it !

And here’s the only one I can show so far. Black, hot pink and some purple. Very “Sexy in black”.. ;-)

I wanted to do a little review on my kick spindle (which I love) but I’ll do that when I get back. Not to sure yet if I’m bringing it along or if I’ll just knit/crochet .. :-P

Okay and now I’ll prepare our bags and suitcases. And some knitting to take with me. There’s no computer or internet connection there so if anything I’ll only be able to reply when I return around the 12th. Hope you’ll have a great week !
