Closer: more ripping ?

Getting closer on the Violaine [vee-o-lene] top. I’m really happy with the top part now but I’m not sure the bottom lacy part captures the spirit of the Roselette very well.. So I might frog some again…

I have just started a second one with some old stash yarn to see if the changes I envision work better. I don’t feel like ripping the malabrigo if I end up redoing it the same. Plus it would damage the yarn. And it would be great to have both samples together to see which one works best.

ETA: Crafting rule #1 : Take time to check gauge ! Row gauge seems way off on this second one so I’ll look for another yarn in the stash and start again.
Will I check gauge this time…? Not likely… ;-)
