And another FO: prune’s new crochet top

If you’re only a knitter, sorry for the lack of knitting content lately.. It seems my brains are so excited by all the new poosibilities offerered by crochet that I just can’t stop !
Some of my older readers may remember that “Mouchelette” top I knitted for Prune ages ago. The pattern is still waiting to be edited/improved/sized up and down, but here’s another take on it, more or less :

It’s made with yarns I bought together probably 2 years ago at my favorite thrifstore.. specifically to make prune a little top !! Ha ! It’s not that often I use yarn exactly for what I bought it for !
I wish I had more pink yarn though, as it would ideally have one more repeat of the lace pattern. But the next ones will have it..!! I’m planning many more, with baby sizes… and a pattern of course !! :-)

I dyed some of my Handpaintedyarn.com merino bulky yesterday. That Cuarenta colorway looks pretty on screen but eek, I don’t really see any pretty projects coming out of this yarn. So it’s now purple and pink, drying in the bathroom before I start a second top for prune.

And I also REALLY need to start working on my Swap project. I’ve pretty much decided now what I’m making for my swap partner and which color scheme I’ll use. Just need to rummage through the stash and get hooking ! (again!)
