Tony Hillerman and FO
I used to read A LOT. As in I’d read any book I found in my teens. (and btw that’s how I read “Jane Eyre” in english when I was about 13, after having already read it in french.. Side note for all those who ask that “How come you speak such good english” question.. ;-) )
Anyhow. It’s summer and I have no book to read. I found a small book of indian novels last weekend but that won’t last long enough for our 2 weeks to Lacanau next month..
So.. Would anyone be willing to trade a (used cheap paperback) book by Tony Hillerman (famous Leaphorn and Chee stories in Navajo Rez) ? I already have 4 or 5 but would LOVE more..
I could send you anything you’d like in exchange, french mags, the whole ChezPlum collection of patterns, or whatever.. Pretty please ? I’d love to hear from you.. ;-P
And. The Baby Bolero is now officially finished !
I think the crochet edging added a nice touch, and the plum colour softened the “surprising” stripes…It’s now blocking, then I’ll send it to my SIL..
(In the background you can see a vintage issue of “Mon tricot” that my Grandma gave me on my last visit.. :-D )

Let me know which titles you have or which ones you want and I will look through my books. I used to read his books and I think I still have a few of them. Hardbacks though, probably not paperbacks.

did you get your Hillerman books?? let me know and I’ll send some off to you…paperbacks. And what in exchange you ask??? only old Phildar knitting magazines, if you have them around. Very difficult to get here in California.
